With a BFA from the Alberta University of the Arts, I have been creating images for over 25 years. I call Saskatoon home.
I (she/her) have worked as an Artist in Residence with the Saskatchewan Arts Board and as a community arts educator and artistic coordinator with the MacKenzie Art Gallery and Common Weal Community Arts. With my education in traditional photography practices, I have taught photography with Remai Modern, PAVED Arts, University of Saskatoon, Regina Continuing Education and the City of Regina.
My personal work focuses on portraits, relationships and memories. And tiny stories. Capturing images that illustrate a person's character, stir a memory, emphasize individual identity or an invitation to relate. Trying to move past common ideals and attempt to create a permanent mark of the real importance of my subject. And I recently finished my first short film, with my partner Steph Krawchuk.
Accolades > 2024 Canada Shorts Film Festival (Official Selection and Award of Merit Recipient), 2020 JUNO Award Nominee (Album Artwork of the Year), Prairie Dog Best of Regina (Photographer), Herschel Supply Best of Well Travelled and been included in multiple Applied Arts Awards, National Magazine Award and Digital Publishing Award winners.
